พล.อ.สุชาติ วิวรรธน์ ประธานคณะกรรมการ (บอร์ด) การทางพิเศษแห่งประเทศไทย (กทพ.) เปิดเผยว่า ในการประชุมบอร์ด กทพ. เมื่อวันที่ 11 พ.ค. ที่ผ่านมา ได้มีการพิจารณาแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคดีค่าผ่านทางด่วน ปี 2546 กับบริษัท ทางด่วนและรถไฟฟ้ากรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ BEM ตามคำชี้ขาดของอนุญาโตตุลาการ หลังคณะกรรมการพิจารณาคำชี้ขาดของอนุญาโตตุลาการ กระทรวงการคลัง และสำนักงานการยุติการดำเนินคดีแพ่งและอนุญาโตตุลาการ สำนักงานอัยการสูงสุด ให้ความเห็นว่า กทพ.ไม่มีเหตุที่จะไม่ปฏิบัติตามคำชี้ขาดของอนุญาโตตุลาการ อีกทั้งไม่สามารถเพิกถอนคำชี้ขาดดังกล่าวได้
