นายกัมพล ติยะรัตน์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ไทยพัฒนาโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ TFD เปิดเผยว่า ในปี 60 บริษัทตั้งเป้าหมายว่าจะให้เป็นปีแห่งการเทิร์นอะราวด์ ตั้งเป้ารายได้ 4,000 ล้านบาท โดยจะเป็นปีที่ภาพรวมธุรกิจเริ่มเดินหน้าตามแผนจากที่ก่อนหน้านี้หลายด้านชะลอ โดยเฉพาะด้านนิคมอุตสาหกรรม แต่ปัจจุบันได้รับการอนุมัติจัดตั้งนิคมอุตสาหกรรมทีเอฟดี 2 บนเนื้อที่ 840 ไร่ เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว และในปีหน้าคาดว่าจะสามารถขายที่ดิน 200 ไร่ ประเมินรายได้ไร่ละ 9 ล้านบาท แต่จะรับรู้รายได้คิดเป็นเงิน 1,530 ล้านบาท ส่วนที่ดินที่เหลือจะทยอยจำหน่ายในปีถัดไป
