ส่วนอัตรากำไรขั้นต้นในปี 59 บริษัทคาดว่าจะกลับมาอยู่ที่ระดับ 32% จากปีนี้ที่จะลดลงมาอยู่ที่ 31% เนื่องจากในปีหน้าบริษัทมีสต๊อกที่จะระบายออกลดลงอย่างมาก ประกอบกับการออกแคมเปญกระตุ้นจะไม่มากเท่ากับปีนี้ หากแนวโน้มภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจในประเทศดีขึ้น และส่งผลให้ค่าใช้จ่ายในการขายและบริหาร (SG A) ลดลงในปีหน้า

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ราคาหุ้น บริษัท เอสซีจี แพคเกจจิ้ง จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ SCGP เปิดเทรดวันแรกที่ระดับ 37 บาท จากราคา IPO ที่ 35 บาท โดยล่าสุด ณ เวลา 10.00 น. ราคาหุ้นอยู่ที่ระดับ 36.75 บาท บวก 1.75 บาท หรือ 5.71% สูงสุดที่ระดับ 37.25  บาท ต่ำสุดที่ระดับ 36.50 บาท ด้วยมูลค่าการซื้อขาย 3.55 ล้านบาท
