ส่วนความคืบหน้างานประมูลโครงการพัฒนาสนามบินอู่ตะเภา มูลค่า 2.7 แสนล้านบาท ปัจจุบันทางคณะกรรมการคัดเลือกอยู่ในระหว่างพิจารณาซองคุณสมบัติ (ซองที่ 2) ซึ่งมีเอกชนเข้ายื่นซองเพียง 2 ราย ได้แก่ กลุ่มกิจการร่วมค้า BBS (ประกอบด้วย BTS, BA, STEC) และกลุ่ม Grand (GRAND, Air Asia, CNT) คาดโครงการนี้จะทราบผลผู้ชนะในเดือน ส.ค. นี้ ส่วนงานอื่น ๆ เช่น งาน O M มอเตอร์เวย์สายบางปะอิน-นครราชสีมา และสายบางใหญ่-กาญจนบุรี รวมมูลค่า 6 หมื่นล้านบาท คาดโครงการดังกล่าวจะทราบผล พร้อมลงนามสัญญาได้ในช่วงปลายปี 2562

รวมถึงการลงทุนในธุรกิจปัญญาประดิษฐ์ผ่านบริษัท AI Robotics Venture (ARV) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทย่อยของ ปตท.สผ. เป็นต้น ซึ่งในปี 63 จะพัฒนาหุ่นยนต์สำหรับการใช้งานจริง ได้แก่ หุ่นยนต์อัตโนมัติใต้น้ำตรวจสอบท่อส่งปิโตรเลียมและโครงสร้างใต้น้ำ (Inspection-class Autonomous Underwater Vehicle: IAUV) หุ่นยนต์ซ่อมบำรุงท่อใต้น้ำ (Subsea Flowline Control and Repair Robot: SFCR) และหุ่นยนต์ตรวจสอบภายในท่อ (In-pipe Inspection Robot) รวมทั้ง ยังมีแผนพัฒนาอีกกว่า 30 โครงการให้บริการเชิงพาณิชย์ในปีถัด ๆ ไปอีกด้วย
