บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ DTAC ระบุว่า บริษัท ดีแทค ไตรเน็ต จำกัด ยื่นชำระค่าใบอนุญาตจากการประมูลคลื่น 900 MHz งวดแรก 4,020 ล้านบาท จากการประมูลในราคา 38,064 ล้านบาท โดยได้รับอนุญาตให้ใช้คลื่น 15 ปี จนถึง พ.ศ. 2576  ซึ่ง กสทช.อยู่ในกระบวนการออกใบอนุญาตการใช้งานคลื่น 900 MHz  โดยที่ประชุมบอร์ด กสทช. มีมติรับรองการจัดสรรใบอนุญาตคลื่นความถี่เพื่อใช้ในกิจการโทรคมนาคมต่อไปให้ทันตามกำหนดเวลา โดย DTAC จะเริ่มใช้งานคลื่นดังกล่าวตามเงื่อนไขการประมูลตั้งแต่ 16 ธันวาคม 2561 เป็นต้นไป
