The analyst stated that the Thai stock market and regional market faced a selloff as concerns over coronavirus remained while NESDC also lowered Thai’s GDP in 2020 to 1.5-2.5%, causing worries to investors in the market.

On September 2, 2019, the share price of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) had made a high jump to close at ฿158.50/share, rose ฿13.50/share or 9.31% with a trading value of 3.57 billion baht. During the session, the share price had made an all-time high at ฿160.50/share while the lowest was ฿144.00/share.

ดูอาการแล้วท่าทางจะลงยาก เช้านี้ SET Index ลงต่ำกว่าแนวรับ 1,407 จุดเล็กน้อย (Low ของวันอยู่ที่ 1,406 จุด) ดัชนีสามารถดีดกลับและมาปิดตัวภาคเช้าได้สูงถึง 1,412 จุด ที่น่าสนใจก็คือแม้ว่ากลุ่ม Big Cap อย่างพลังงาน ธนาคารฯ และสื่อสารจะถ่วงตลาด แต่กลุ่ม Mid Cap กลับช่วยกันวิ่ง ช่วยกันไล่จนประคอง SET Index ให้ยืนเหนือ 1,410 จุดได้

โดยมีปัจจัยหนุนการเติบโตจากมูลค่างานในมือ (Backlog) มากกว่า 3,400 ล้านบาท ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมีการรับรู้รายได้ประมาณ 1,200-1,300 ล้านบาท และบริษัทยังวางแผนเตรียมเข้าประมูลงานทั้งในประเทศ และต่างประเทศมูลค่ามากกว่า 3,000 ล้านบาท  นำโดย งานศูนย์ราชการโซน C, งานโครงการรถไฟความเร็วสูงเชื่อม 3 สนามบิน และ งานรถไฟทางคู่หลายเส้นทาง เป็นต้น
