พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการนโยบายพลังงานแห่งชาติ (กพช.) เปิดเผยภายหลังการประชุมว่า ที่ประชุม กพช.มีมติให้ดำเนินโครงการโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหินกระบี่ไปตามขั้นตอน หลังล่าช้ามากว่า 2 ปีแล้ว ทั้งนี้ จากผลการศึกษาพบมีความคุ้มค่าและมีความปลอดภัย

The Board of Directors have approved B.GRIMM Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM) to establish a new subsidiary, B.Grimm Power (Korea) Limited, in the Republic of Korea with a registered capital of ฿10 million, in which BGRIM will hold 100% stake in this company.

พร้อมกันนี้ บริษัทยังประกาศจ่ายปันผลจากงวดดำเนินงานวันที่ 1 ก.ค.62 ถึงวันที่ 30 ก.ย.62 อัตราจ่ายเป็นเงินสด (บาทต่อหุ้น) 3.00 บาทต่อหุ้น ให้แก่ผู้ถือหุ้นสามัญ โดยจะขึ้นเครื่องหมาย XD ไม่ได้รับสิทธิปันผลในวันที่ 21 พ.ย. 2562 และกำหนดจ่ายเงินปันผลในวันที่ 6 ธ.ค.2562
