According to the Malaysian government preventive measures against COVID-19 had enforced the restriction on movement control and closure of public places and all businesses except shop selling foods and daily necessities across the country during March 18th – 31st, 2020, therefore Home Product Center PLC.’s business in Malaysia under the provision of subsidiary, Home Product Center (Malaysia) SDN BHD., will be closed temporarily in response to aforementioned measures. 

อย่างไรก็ดี ก่อนการรวมกิจการ ธนาคารธนชาตจะมีการปรับโครงสร้างทางธุรกิจ โดยจะมีการโอนบริษัทในเครือและบริษัทที่เกี่ยวข้องบางส่วน ทั้งที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯ และบริษัทนอกตลาดหลักทรัพย์ให้แก่ผู้ถือหุ้นปัจจุบัน ซึ่งได้แก่ ทุนธนชาต และ/หรือ BNS และ/หรือ ผู้ถือหุ้นรายย่อย ตามที่มีการลงนามเข้าทำสัญญา ในกรณีการปรับโครงสร้างทางธุรกิจนั้น เป็นที่คาดว่าผู้ถือหุ้นหลักของธนาคารธนชาตจะยังคงให้การสนับสนุนบริษัทย่อยและบริษัทในเครือดังกล่าว เพื่อให้จุดประสงค์ของการรวมกิจการบรรลุผล
